Here at Wilson Orthodontics, Dr. Wilson uses this information to plot individual tooth movements throughout the course of your SureSmile treatment. 3-D “mapping” of tooth movement allows for a more efficient bracket and archwire system to be designed. Once your computerized treatment plan is complete, it is sent to the SureSmile Service Center for your customized archwires.

 

SureSmile uses state-of-the-art robotic technology to fabricate your “shape-memory alloy” archwires based on the detailed requirements of your individual treatment plan. These “smart” wires, which permanently retain the custom bends, are made from the most effective materials used in orthodontics today.
